About Kim Owens, LMT
Kim Owens was born in California and grew up in Oregon. In 1987, she moved to Atlanta, GA where she began her career in Corporate High-Tech Marketing. For many years she moved up the corporate ladder working in Atlanta and eventually commuting to the Boston area. Kim was very good at her work, but never felt that it was her "calling."

In 2002, when her second son was 5-weeks old, Kim received a phone call that became the starting point of a personally profound spiritual journey. (At the time, it seemed more like an end or an ultimatum, "move to Boston or else...")

After an intense soul-searching (and listening) experience, Kim left corporate America and became a bodyworker. Kim is now a Licensed Massage Therapist, NeuroMuscular Therapist, Restorative Yoga and Centering Prayer Instructor.

In 2004, Kim founded Revival Bodyworks Center in Marietta, GA, which was a thriving Christ-centered Bodyworks Clinic. In 2007, in support of her husband's teaching career, Kim and her family moved to the Brooklet, GA area. At Brooklet Bodyworks, Kim hopes to connect people with their mind/body and the Holy Spirit thru development of community, sharing of tools and facilitation of experiential workshops.

new therapist: Amy Touchton, LMT

About Amy
Amy has always found satisfaction in working with the public. From waitressing to customer service, she was always (and unknowingly) honing people skills that would point her toward her career of choice: Massage Therapy.  With the support of her family and friends, Amy enrolled in The Augusta School of Massage in Evans, GA. After her first week there she felt like this was her calling. With exceptional grades all the way through the program, she progressed through the curriculum with excitement and determination. She is excited to join and enhance the Brooklet Bodyworks experience.

  • Member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.

Kim and Amy work closely together to ensure that your expectations are exceeded.
