Dear friends and clients,
After 8 wonderful and successful years, it is with a heavy heart I am announcing that I am retiring from massage therapy. When my doctor recommended that I quit massage 2 years ago I told my husband that the only way I'd ever change careers is if God dropped an opportunity in my lap. He did. Beginning in March, I will be the Administrator at Connection Church.
I’ve had a rough year recovering from this autoimmune disease, and as my doctor warned, the constant hands-on exposure to illness is keeping my immune system on high-alert. The physical stress of massage therapy is keeping me exhausted. It is bitter-sweet to leave since I love each of you. However, I feel that God has opened a door for me to walk through in faith. Your support has meant the world to me over the last few years and I deeply thank you.
Amy Touchton has been working with me for the last year. She has stepped in for me on many days when I have not felt up to working and she covered me for 4 weeks when I broke my finger, so many of you are already familiar with her gifting. She is an excellent massage therapist. Over the last year she's learned a lot about running a small business and I feel confident that she will continue to exceed your expectations for service and professionalism.
It is my hope that you will give her the opportunity to serve your massage therapy needs. As part of the transition, she has agreed to fulfill all outstanding gift certificates and pre-paid packages.
She's been my massage therapist for the last year and I will continue to receive massages from her on a weekly basis. I will be available to consult with her on an ongoing basis, so please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
I will continue to lead the Mind/Body/Holy Spirit meditation group which meets weekly at Connection Church. Please visit my Blog for more information: http://s205013910.onlinehome.us/meditation/
Peace. Be Still.
With sincere love and gratitude, Kim Owens
